CAPABILITY STATEMENT
Heard Management is a minority female owned sole proprietorship consulting firm specializing in management consulting services which include training and development, coaching and problem solving. Using training and experience from a variety of workplace settings, Heard Management develops management tools to help organizations succeed. The emphasis is on “Procedures to Prevent Problems”. Heard Management has provided services to clients since July of 1993.
MISSION
Heard Management’s mission is to increase the probability of success for organizations by enhancing management knowledge and skills. Heard Management helps businesses improve their administrative functions in order to increase both the effectiveness and the efficiency of their operations.

SERVICES OFFERED
Planning - Facilitate development of strategic plans, business plans and action plans.
Internal Controls – Develop and implement common sense approaches to provide “checks and balances” within the company’s system to allow reasonable control over its assets; perform management audits. Process improvement.
Standard Operating Procedures – Perform management audits. Develop and implement procedures for company management and administration. Assist in preparing business plans and loan applications. Process improvement.
Management Accounting – Prepare financial statements; assist with budget preparation, forecasts and analysis; determine effective use of accounting systems. Process improvement.
Business Coaching – Work one-on-one with individuals to enhance their management skills. This service can be provided in person, over the Internet, or by telephone. As a business coach, Heard Management is also available to consult with the board of directors, department heads and administrative staff concerning any problems concerning the business processes of the company.
Training & Development – leadership skills, business management skills, communication, team building, conflict resolution. DISC behavior style assessment and 360o-feedback surveys are used for coaching, communication and team development.
